  We really like good German food and this place is appears to be one of the best in cities. Service could be improved and the food is somewhat on the pricey side. But the quality of the food is very good.

  If you are looking for some authentic German food this is your place. If you are looking for a fun time during October fest this place, is the place to be. German food, bands, and drinks make this place a must try on my "places to stop"

  First let me say I've been going to Gasthaus for 30+ years. I was at Octoberfest and found out there was no more buffet. I have been to Gasthaus for lunches and they were good. Our meal off the menu today was at best mediocre. The chef/cook should locate a spice rack. The thick tasteless gravy was at best a health hazard. I want the old Gasthaus back. This meal today, was not worth coming back for. I don't want to see the Gasthaus gone, but if the food keeps on like this, it won't take long.

  Excellent food. Herring sampler, yes. I'll have two. Schnitzel? Oh, yeah. Bread dumplings, spaetzle...It's all good. It's all always good. Service can be slow.
